The way the world’s resources are distributed is outrageously unfair. We have an abundance of goodwill, resource, and opportunity, and we see it as our responsibility to share. We donate at least 5% of our pre-tax profits to anti-poverty organisations. We reserve at least 20% of our coaching and consulting time for non-profit organisations, for which we charge no more than 50% of our standard fees.
We have high expectations of each other and of our clients. We invest hugely in our own learning to keep ourselves at the leading edge. We see people as big, powerful, and wonderful. We have tremendous compassion for humanity and no time for victim behaviour. We give honest, challenging feedback and expect to receive it back.
We believe the best work comes from open-minded collaboration. We’re never stuck on doing something in a particular way just because that’s how we did it last time. We take care in how we set up and develop business relationships, with explicit expectations of roles and outcomes. We seek learning, support, and challenge in our business partnerships.
Trust is our starting point and low-integrity behaviour is not tolerated. We walk our talk. We are transparent about our beliefs and values. We only want to progress along a mutually agreed path. We are honest about our experience and expertise and don’t pretend to know stuff that we don’t. Client confidentiality is sacred. How we do things is just as important as what we do.
